MC - Multi Combination
- A B-double (prime mover towing 2 semitrailers, with 1 semitrailer supported at the front and connected to the other semitrailer)
- A road train (motor vehicle, other than a B-double, towing 2 or more trailers)
Eligibility
- Hold HR/HC licence for a period of 12 months to upgrade to MC.
HR to MC conducted over minimum of 2 days
HC to MC conducted over minimum of one day
TLIC4006 – Drive multi-combination vehicle
This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to drive a multi combination vehicle safely:
- systematic and efficient control of all vehicle functions
- coupling and uncoupling of trailers
- monitoring of traffic and road conditions
- management of vehicle condition and performance
- effective management of hazardous situations
Course offers one on one training in Cairns.
On successfully completion of being deemed competent you will receive a statement of attainment issued by QTLT RTO 40931
A short literacy and numeracy test will be required

Medical Conditions
If you have any of the conditions below you will need a obtain a medical certificate (it needs to be lodged with the department of transport) stating you are OK to drive for the class of licence you are applying for before starting any training. (i.e MR, HR etc):

- neurological—dementia, stroke, seizures or epilepsy
- psychiatric disorders
- sleep disorders
- alcohol or drug dependency..

Cancellation Policy:
- Change to course time or date greater than 24 hours from course start: $30
- Cancel course or change date within 24hrs of course start: $200
- Cancel Course or fail to show on the same day as the course: $600
