HC Truck Licence

HC - Heavy Combination

  • A truck (including a prime mover or mobile crane) over 8t GVM with a trailer of more than 9t GVM.

Eligibility

  • Hold your MR/HR licence for a period of 12 months to ugrade to HC.

What to bring

  • Queensland Driver's Licence
  • Closed in footwear

Medical Conditions

If you have any of the conditions below you will need a obtain a medical certificate (it needs to be lodged with the department of transport) stating you are OK to drive for the class of licence you are applying for before starting any training. (i.e MR, HR etc):

  • blackouts
  • diabetes
  • eye or vision problems
  • heart disease
  • neurological—dementia, stroke, seizures or epilepsy
  • psychiatric disorders
  • sleep disorders
  • alcohol or drug dependency..

Cancellation Policy:

  • Change to course time or date greater than 24 hours from course start:  $30
  • Cancel course or change date within 24hrs of course start:   $200
  • Cancel Course or fail to show on the same day as the course:   $600

Innisfail Only
Licence in a Day Course (Condition B) includes:
– 3hrs driver training prior to driving test
– 1hr practical driving test with Qld Transport

4-5 Day Course (Unrestricted: road ranger), includes:
– 10hrs driver training prior to driving test

Lessons (7 days a week 6:00am–5:00pm) 2hrs (minimum) – $380
Lessons (7 days a week 6:00am–5:00pm) 4hrs – $760
Test/Re-test, includes:
– 1hr driving in test area prior to driving test
– 1.5hr practical driving test with Qld Transport
– Qld booking fee		 $740

We recruit prospective students, provide enrolment forms, and conduct training and assessment on behalf of QTLT RTO 40931.
