Gas Test Atmospheres

Please note: We run this course by request as it is already included it in our Confined Space/Gas test Atmospheres combined special (for only $20 extra), which is what most people choose.

• We provide National WH&S Authority Assessment
• The course includes face to face training for theory, hands on practical training and assessment
• Manual and Workbook are supplied at the start of course
• Students are being trained in the following:
  • confined spaces
  • enclosed and partially enclosed spaces
  • hot work
  • storage tanks, silos, pits, pipes, shafts, ducts, transport vehicles and ships
  • testing as part of issuing a work permit
  • monitoring as part of working under a work permit
  • open areas
  • holding the gas tester by hand
  • lowering the gas tester into a space, e.g. on a line.

Entry requirements

• Students must be minimum 15 years of age
• Provide primary proof of identification that includes name, date of birth and signature
• Basic knowledge and understanding of English language
• Have sufficient physical ability to lift up to 20kg infrequently from ground to overhead and access heights above 2m

What to bring

• Photo ID: current Driver's Licence, Passport or Proof of Age card
• Closed in footwear
