The folk from Cairns Truck School were supportive and informative, giving me all the confidence and skills I needed to get my Heavy Rigid Licence. Their tutors showed me the ‘ropes’, and Ross himself was also there to hand me over in person to the examiner on the day. I can’t fault their leadership and highly recommend their services to anyone seeking to gain advanced driving skills and qualifications in the local region.

I undertook the HR day course with Ross and followed up with my test on the same day. Ross was knowledgable, friendly, and provided a relaxed and educational environment. He clearly explained what I needed to do and was easily able to answer my questions while providing feedback on points I needed to work on. I went into my test feeling confident and was able to pass with no trouble at all.

While trying to gain my licence I encountered a couple of obstacles related to family commitments and COVID-19 lockdowns. Ross, Kat and the whole team were unfazed by any issue and were always ready with a solution to enable me to book a time that worked for me. I work in transport and logistics and will absolutely recommend Cairns Truck School to my friends and colleagues in future.

I was given an array or trainers that were all unique in their teachings but managed to teach me what I needed.
