Cairns Truck School & Training Centre operates various courses in Mareeba & surrounding areas. Services regularly delivered are: Truck 'Licence in a Day Courses' This includes MR, HR & HC (restricted (B) condition - which means auto or manual gearbox only) day courses, but does not include non-synchromesh (crashbox, road-ranger, double clutch) gear box as this is too complex learn in one day. Forklift Licence onsite: Looking for forklift licences for your farm or business? We can come to you and use your forklifts. We run many courses for farms on the tablelands. For remote locations we normally employ the logbook method unless all people taking the course have more than approx. 6 months supervised experienced. This consists of: 1) 1st day visit - Theory & some Practical 2) Period between - Logbook hours to competency 3) 2nd visit - Theory assessment followed by practical assessment 5 or more people are usually the minimum to keep costs down, but please call to discuss if your situation is unique. Many farms join together to get better numbers.
