All courses have a theory, practical & assessment component. The courses are conducted in Cairns. The theory is done at our training centre, the practical training and assessment at a live job site in Freshwater.

You can choose any of our earth-moving machines (see below); Front End Loader, Skid Steer (Bobcat), Dozer, Excavator, Roller, Backhoe or Tractor.

Swap a machine for a forklift Licence

Need a forklift licence as well. You can swap a machine for a forklift licence or add to the list at a great discounted rate!!

The excavator, dozer and loader have both a civil ticket as well as a mining ticket.

Traditionally you were able to work on a mine site with the civil tickets because civil work is more complex and needs a greater level of competency.

However, over the last few years, more and more mines are asking for the mining ticket. If you are ever comcidering going for work in the mines, it would be a good idea to get both mining and civil tickets at the same time to save time and money in the future.
